What are your hobbies?:
Aside from writing and drawing, I enjoy horror media of all kinds, fitness and table-top gaming! I usually have at least one scheduled game per week with friends. I'm getting into weight training, but it's a long road.
I'm also very into interior design, sustainable living and DIY, and one of my favourite pastimes is drawing other people's characters as a surprise!Do you have original characters?
I do! Some are characters from tabletop games, for collaborative world-building projects with friends, or just random concepts that grew on me as I designed them! You can see some references (and some great fanart) on my Art Fight account.Favourite scary films?
I love cerebral horror films that get under your skin. Films I enjoyed include In Fear (2013), The Borderlands (2013), Veronica (2017), Hereditary (2018), and some intense flicks like Martyrs (2008) or Frontiers (2007)!
I'm also a huge fan of some classics, like The Exorcist (1973) or The Hills have Eyes (1977).
Favourite music?
My music taste is massively varied. My top three bands/artists are Neil "Lemon Demon" Cicierega, Go! Child and Rise Against. I listen to all kinds of genres while I work or travel.Favourite books/stories?
My favourite book of all time is Michelle Paver's Dark Matter. It's eerie, atmospheric and emotional, and I'd recommend anyone pick it up! I also adore China Mieville's Three Moments of an Explosion, particularly the shorts Four Final Orpheuses and the horrifying Sacken.I enjoy a lot of C. K. Walker's work, especially Paradise Pine and Rocking Horse Creek; there's some great imagery in Kris Straub's Lemon Blossom Girl, and you can't go wrong with a classic like King's The Raft.Favourite games?
My top TTRPG systems - other than hacks and homebrews I've made - are the iconic Dungeons and Dragons, the uber-simple Lasers & Feelings, the electric Spectaculars, and Monster of the Week!As for my top video games, I've always loved Pokémon spin-offs like Ranger: Shadows of Almia and Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. I'm also a fan of some fan-made Pokemon games, such as the nuclear-themed Pokemon Uranium, story-driven epic Pokemon Insurgence and the rich, dark fantasies explored in Pokemon Rejuvenation.Despite my love for horror, I've never been particularly good at them, but I appreciate psychologically spooky games like Layers of Fear and the original Amnesia.
